Delete your data

How to remove your SnookerSim account and everything we hold about you.

What you can delete and what we store

If you've signed in with Google or Facebook, we hold:

If you haven't signed in, we don't have an account for you — you can clear everything locally by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Online match chat is held briefly for moderation (longer if someone reported the conversation); email us if you want that reviewed or removed.

Delete your account in the app

In the SnookerSim app for iPhone or Android, open the Account panel while signed in and choose Delete account. Your account, saved shots, scores and app notification settings are removed straight away; links you've shared stay live but are no longer tied to you.

How to request deletion

Send an email to support@snookersim.com from the email address you signed in with. Include:

We'll confirm receipt within a few working days and complete the deletion within 30 days, as required by UK GDPR. Once it's done we'll reply to confirm. The deletion permanently removes your account, your saved shots, your published positions and your scores, and cannot be undone.

If you signed in with Facebook

You can also revoke SnookerSim's access from Facebook directly. Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, find SnookerSim in the list, and choose Remove. That stops further data being shared with us, but doesn't on its own delete the account record we already hold — email us as above for that.

What about analytics?

Analytics events are anonymous (no name or email is ever sent). When we delete your account we also disassociate the opaque user id we used to link analytics events to your signed-in profile. You can opt out of analytics entirely at any time by appending ?tracking=off to any URL on this site.

Server logs

Hosting-level request logs (IP, URL, response code, user-agent) are kept for a short period for security and abuse prevention and roll off automatically. They aren't tied to your account.
